What sound is this?

• ・You shut a door or the door of an apparatus. It is a loud sound.
• ・When something large and flat falls down, it makes this sound.

for example

• ・The teacher slammed shut the door of the copy machine.
• ・The door is opening and shutting in the wind with thudding sounds.
• ・The fusuma sliding door of the closet came out of its groove and fell down with a bang.

What sound is this?

• ・When something light and flat hits other things or falls down, it makes this sound. It is a small sound.

for example

• ・A book on the bookshelf fell over with a light thud.
• ・I snapped shut the book I was reading.
• ・The window snapped shut.
